Gosh that came fast.....

Last night was my family Christmas at my house. Let's see there was, Grandma, Mom, Tami, Chris, Kylie, Ryan, Devin, Tera, Tavia, Me, Greyson, Carlos, Ron, Cher, and Ryan's girlfriend Sara. We really enjoyed the night. We had a lot of really good, fattening food. There was Buffalo Chicken Dip, sub sandwiches, Pecan Sandies, Oriental chocolate cookies, bacon and ranch stuffed mushrooms, crab stuffed mushrooms, mini cheesecakes, little smokies, meatballs, and a huge cheese ball that Mom made. We were snacking all night just making ourselves sick, but it was so delicious. I probably gained 20 pounds, lol. Gary read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" like he does every year. We did the presents and then we got a little picture goofy. Surprise we got goofy. Greyson got lots of nice toys and he's been having a hay day with them all day today. Some pretty snow pictures

I just wanted to share with you how gorgeous it looks outside at my house with all of this snow. I am so glad that it's the weekend and that I don't have to drive in it.

6-10 inches is what they are forecasting.....

We have gotten about 5 inches so far. Carlos left at 7 this morning to start plowing. So, Greyson and I went outside to play in it. He wasn't that excited about it. He just looked at the ground like what the heck happened out here? Here are some pics. I will bring him out again. I want some really good pictures but he wasn't smiling out there. He was in awe. I tried to lay him down in it so he could make a snow angel. By the picture you can tell that wasn't a good idea, haha...poor baby.

Tonight Mom and I took Greyson to the Plaid Monkey which is a hair cutting place for kids. They had the cutest things in there to play with so the kids would stay happy. Greyson was watching Barny while he was getting his hair cut. He did very well. I was a little afraid he would scream but he could care less, LOL. Here are the pictures.

I also wanted to say thank you for poking me in my eye yesterday when I had a migraine and knocking my contact lense up behind my lid. You're the best!

Stop with the ice already..

It has been raining for the last 2 days and it freezes overnight. Out temp at night is like 25. Carlos has been gone for the past two nights putting salt down at the businesses he works for. Here is what it looked like this morning. behind my house. Tonight we are supposed to get more with a wintery mix that is supposed to accumulate.

Wow, what a day..

I'll first start by saying I was over at Mom's last night and I started getting this headache which is kind of rare for me. I guess I should feel lucky for that. It progressively got worse as the night went on. It was behind my eyes and everything.I decided it was time to go home and try to sleep it off after a total of 1600 mg's of Ibuprofen. It wasn't touching it. I went home and went to bed only to wake up all night because my head was hurting. Thank God Greyson was at Mom's house spending the night. I felt so nauseous and the pain in my head was severe. I called my Mom and told her I was going to the Emergency room. I was getting so freaked out. I was afraid something serious was going on because this was something I've never had to go through. I went to the hospital and they got me in immediately. I was sent for a Cat Scan, EKG, blood work and a urine sample. Everything came back normal. I just had my first migraine. I hope I never have another one. I really wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. I told them it was worse than my c-section I had. Now, that's serious, LOL. Anyway, I went to Mom's after I left the hospital and as soon as I got there I told Mom to get me something I was feeling really sick to my stomach. I barely made it to the trashcan. I got so sick and couldn't quit. I took some Vicodin and went to sleep for about 3 hours. I woke up feeling better but I still have some pressure behind my eyes. It hurts to bend over or doing any lifting. I was afraid the hospital was going to be packed due to the ice storm we had last night. I will post about that next. I hope I never have another migraine again.

Well, I think we are getting back to normal..

I think we are I said. Greyson was really good today, not whiney or needy at all. I think maybe a big part of it is teething. I say that now but I just changed a pretty nasty diaper before I put him to bed. Let's hope that wasn't the start or more of what he's been going through. Anyway, I've taken some pictures and played with them a bit and I wanted to share them with all two of my readers. Hello....hello.....anybody out there?

Can't I just get a lil break Greyson?

This morning Greyson's right eye was glued shut when I woke him up, so I cleaned it off and took him to Tami's hoping she wouldn't say anything...I can't miss another day of work. So, we get there and I'm about to leave and she says, "He feels hot." I just kinda brushed it off. I hadn't noticed honestly. Well, she took his temp and sure enough he had a fever. So, I had to call into work. I just went ahead a drove to his Dr.s office in hopes that they would just squeeze him in. They did, in fact we were in and out of there within 30 minutes. Greyson has pink eye and a virus. I hadn't even noticed that he had a rash on his back, not bad enough that I saw it.

Today he has been so whiney. I was so glad to see Carlos when he got home from work. I couldn't wait to get a break. Carlos didn't do crap. He was tired from work. So, I felt guilty because I was home all day and he wasn't. So, I took care of him. He wouldn't go to sleep for me which is very unlike him. Usually he will lay down as soon as I put him in his crib and go to sleep. I attempted to put him to sleep 3 times. None of those times worked. This last time, I just let him cry. I felt bad but oh my gosh, go to sleep already. I just hope tomorrow will be much better.....

I actually colored my hair brown

Last night I went to my Mom's house and had her color my hair brown. I am just sick of running to the salon and paying so much to get it highlighted. I'm sure it'll be blonde again some day. Maybe in the summertime.

A friend of mine said that she can see some resemblance now with Greyson and I. I am not in love with it, that's for sure. It'll grow on me...get it, my hair will grow on me, ah ha ha ha.


Another thing going on...Greyson has pink eye and a virus. So, he's getting drops in his eye. Last week my niece and my lil cousin had strep throat and they are with Greyson every day at my sisters. So, I'm hoping he won't get that now!

Pity Party update

I am over myself now. You all can go on with your day....LOL. My sister and her husband came over and Carlos cooked dinner and it was really nice. We had Carne Asada, spanish rice, and refried beans...and it was mmmm mmmm good! Have a great night!

I'm having a pity party today...

And I said I wouldn't. I almost hate birthdays. They aren't fun at all to me. Today I have gotten a call from my Mom and that's it. That's not normal. Normally, both of my sisters would have already called and left me a long message with a silly Happy Birthday song. But, not yet and it's 12:00. I have been scrubbing my tubs and toilets and kitchen all morning. I know I need to get over myself. There are a lot of people that don't get birthdays because their life was cut short. I know I need to be thankful for being here and being a Mommy and a wife. So, I will just need to get over myself.

Black Friday...

The busiest shopping day of the year. Tami and I go every single year and fight the crowd to get in the doors. This year we had nothing that we had to have so we just went to Walmart in Wentzville which is a 24hr one and you can come inside. You just can't buy anything until the sale starts. So, this year we didn't stand out in the freezing cold. That's a first and I liked it a lot more that way. I think I got Greyson's Christmas out of the way. I got him about 5 things.







Thanksgiving went really well also. I always have a good time when I am with my whole family. It's a comedy hour all night long. If that makes sense...it does to me and that's all that matters, LOL. Today Carlos and I ate leftovers from Thanksgiving and it tasted just as good! Yum,we had sweet potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, corn cake casserole, mashed potatoes, scalloped corn, rolls and of course pumpkin pie. Greyson got a birthday present that Aunt Tess was waiting for since August. It was on back order. It's a John Deer Tracker...and he loves it.

A couple of things....

Does your husband pee in the shower? I know gross, right? I was reading my friends myspace blog this morning and she said her husband said he pees in the shower. He said that every guy does it and they are lying if they say they don't. So, I'm cooking breakfast this morning and I asked Carlos if he pees in the shower. He said No. Then I told him about the blog and said well maybe sometimes. I told him that was gross and I felt like I needed to go scrub the bath tub now. He said, "Well if it makes you clean more then I'll start doing it every day."
Nice Carlos.....so if you guys are wondering why I'm not on as much it's because I'm confined to the bathroom cleaning...haha






The second thing is that I made a wreath for Christmas yesterday and I really like it. Just wanted to show how it turned out!

I initially wanted Greyson to be Mickey Mouse for Halloween because he LOVES him. I bought a costume from Target online for only $6.00. I thought that was a good price. Well when we moved I couldn't find it so we bought something else. I found it a couple of days ago and I wanted him to wear it before it was too small. It's size 12mos. I put it on him today to take a picture and I think he grew a little since I bought it.

Ain't no stoppin him now!

Esmee Denters

This is a video of a girl that I have been watching on YouTube for a while. She started out on there just putting videos of herself singing from home. Well, I have watched her progression and she is now signed by Justin Timberlake (my husband) LOL....did I just say that? Anyway her name is Esmee Denters and she is a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful voice. She will be big someday. Mark my words.

Greyson is wanting to walk finally

Well it's almost official. Greyson is trying to walk. We had so much fun tonight, Carlos and I. We were bribing him with keys. He was tired by the time I recorded it. What's really funny is Carlos saying...go get the keys...go get the keys. FUNNY! Click here to see the video!!!

How do you stay out of the candy?????

I wish the candy that Greyson got last night had a lock on the bag. I can't stay out of it, DANGIT! Last night we had a really fun night. We went to Aunt Tam's and trick or treated. Greyson had his Shrek costume to wear last night but I got over to my sister's house to pick him up and this is what he looked like. I almost died laughing. I thought he was so pretty, LOL.



This is Kylie's Christmas dress from when she was like 2 years old, she's now 8. Then Tam put a pretty black wig on him.....yikes, LOL



Anyway, we walked around Tami's neighborhood and went trick or treating. It was pretty nice out. I can remember some really cold Halloweens, the kids had it good this year.




Let the countdown begin. Only a month and a half till Christmas!

How do you cut something so beautiful?

Everyone always talks about how I shouldn't cut Greyson's hair because it is so cute on him. But, eventually I am gonna have to. It's getting pretty long. But look at these curls.......awwwww!
