The D day for Greyson

Well, today our baby boy was dedicated at church. It was really neat. Mom didn't know she was in the slideshow, and of course she got all teary eyed. My whole family was there and then afterwards we had a BBQ at Tess and Gary's house. It was so hot though. I didn't want to go outside, a lot of us just hung out in the house. I'm thinking it was in the upper 80's. So, we had Hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, devilled eggs, 7 layer salad, baked beans, taco salad, cucumber dip, and brownies. We were all sick after all that. It was soooo yummy. We hardly took any pictures. But here are a few at least in his tux. Awwww, isn't he sweet!

This Sunday

Well, our little man will be getting dedicated this Sunday at Church. We went all out for this. I'm talking black tuxedo for him, LOL, black dress shoes and all. This is very important to us that we have him dedicated to God after all that is who he came from. After the dedication we are going to have a big party at my brother and sister in laws house. I will have lots of pictures I'm sure. Just wanted to share that with you.

OK, make that 5 at the same time...what?

Am I dreaming? I just fed Greyson dinner only to find another tooth coming in next to his bottom two teeth. This makes his 7th tooth and the 5th one in just days?

OK, I'm back, I just fainted...just kidding, but I can't believe how fast this is happening, LOL.

4 at the same time?

Greyson has 4 teeth coming in at the same time up top. Doesn't that seem like a lot? What's weird, or maybe I should consider myself lucky, is that he hasn't been crabby! This is all happening so fast. He's getting dedicated in a couple of weeks and when I planned it, it seemed like it was so far away...but it's already almost here. Why does life fly by so fast? I'm going to be planning a one year birthday party in a few months!

He is such a funny lil man. I swear he thinks he's talking in sentences already. On the other hand he won't hold his sippy cup or bottle. He is lazy with a capital L. He knows how to hold it, but he doesn't really want to. He's eating table food now, very mashed up. He's like his Momma, loves bananas. Bath time is a mess. He used to just sit there and let me wash him, but now he has to smack his hands in the water and make me SOAKING wet, HOLY COW! He is rocking on all fours trying to figure out this crawling thing. We're not there yet. I'm not sure I'm ready for all that, I'd have to child proof the house. I will have to anyway, but he needs to slow down and give Momma a break......gosh, LOL. Anyway, we're on the sixth tooth and I'm sure by next week he'll have all of his teeth in, LOL.

Oh and by the way, Tavia said that Uncle Carlos looks like a Chexican in this picture because his eyes being half closed. OOh hoo go Tavia with your jokes, LMAO.

Look at these babies, awwww

What a beautiful Easter Day

Well we started off by going to a really emotional service at church today. They played pieces of the Passion of the Christ. In between they would sing some gorgeous songs. It was just really neat. After that we went to Gary and Tess' house and had Carne Asada. It's beef that's marinated in lime juice and some seasonings. This was Gary's idea. I sware if he could've been born a Mexican he would've. This is something that Carlos introduced to us, and we all love it, YUM!

We didn't buy anything for Greyson for Easter but Gary and Tess gave him a little stuffed chicky, and Grammy gave him a white chocolate bunny and some Peeps, She was feeding it to him and he loved it. Just about ate a whole Peep.

Then to top it all off, Greyson just stuck my finger in his mouth and I felt a tooth on both sides of my finger. Yep, one of his top teeth came in. He was sooo fussy about a week ago and I now know it was from the teething, thank God.

Here are some pictures of Greyson's 1st Easter, it was a fun one.

Went picture crazy today

OK, so I had fun with my camera today. Carlos finally had a day off and I love seeing him and Greyson together. My men are so cute I have to say. I'm a little prejudice maybe, but they're pretty darn hammmm-some.

Brrrrrrrr

Last week it was 80 degrees and this week it feels like it's winter all over again. Poor Greyson went from letting his chubby legs breathe to squeezing them back into a pair of pants. It's been about 40 degrees, I liked the 80's better.

Well, this Sunday is Easter, and I don't think we will buy anything for Greyson since he's so young, he doesn't know what's going on. I don't know yet. I guarantee his Grammy will have a basket for him, so he'll still be getting something. She won't stop buying things for him. He has a crib over there with bedding, diapers, wipes, baby food, tons of bottles. It's so nice. I hardly have to bring a thing when he spends the night, which is every Friday. Yeah, that's nice too, LOL.

Anyway, have a great Easter!

Dear Deborah,

Hi my name is Greyson and my Mommy tells me a lot about you. I hear you live in England. She would really like to bring me there some day to meet you. I also hear you are a really nice person, sending me stuff all the way from England...wow that sounds far away. My Mom misses you, she hasn't seen you in a buh-gillion years, she says. Anyway, I better get off of here before Mommy finds out I know how to type already...hehehe. Here's some more pictures of me.

Love,
Greyson

What a gorgeous day

I love this kind of weather. It was in the 70's today which is just right for me, not too hot or cold. I think I could've sat out on the deck all day if Greyson would've allowed it. We cued up some chicken and dogs and it was so good. You know, I really don't have much to type about, so I'll put some pictures of Greyson on here for you to look at.....surprise!
