Rachel and JD are now officially Mommy and Daddy! What a wonderful gift!!! She was 8 lbs 15 oz and 21.5 inches long. What a healthy baby girl! You did good Rachel!! You're one tough cookie!

Closing out 2006

Well, before you know it 2007 will be here. I just want to say I had an amazing year. I had a healthy little boy on August 25th 2006. That will be the best thing of all times but that's how I will close out my year. A lot of great new things will happen to me in 2007 with Greyson growing so fast. He is trying to laugh. He has this cute little 1/2 laugh going on right now, and I swear he's singing when I sing. It's so precious. He just stares at me and coos. Oh my gosh I could just squeeze him up.




I have a few New Years Resolutions this time. I will try to lose weight, keep my house cleaner, and try to work more hours. Finally, I will try to get to church more then once every couple of months. But, if none of that happens it won't be the end of the world.


I hope that all of my friends and family feel good about closing this chapter in their lives and are excited to open up a new one. Have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Breathing Treatments

I took Greyson in to get his 4 month shots today and found out that he has a respiratory infection and it's bad enough to need breathing treatments. So, I have to do a breathing treatment every 4 hours for the next week. I was just in there Saturday and he just sounded stuffy. This time it was actually something she could hear in his chest. So, we did a breathing treatment of Albuterol in the nebulizer. He seemed like it was so fun. He just kept looking at me with that mask on his face and smiling. So, it made me feel a little bit better. She came in and checked him after the treatment and noticed a big difference when she checked his chest again.

After all of that, it was time for his shots. I can't watch them do it. I was upset all day at work thinking about having to take him to get them. The worst part is that he's in a great mood and smiling and then all of a sudden these two nurses come in and stab him at the same time. So, 2 shots on each leg. After they were done with the 1st round, I could just hear it take his breath away. His face was beat red and he couldn't even cry it had him so worked up. Then it was time for another round. I felt so sorry for him. I just scooped him off the table as soon as they were done. I kept saying, "Awww, what did those nurses do to you?" He never did respond, LOL.


On a good note, he is 17 lbs already and she said he is proportioned well. She wants me to start feeding him rice every night so he can get a fuller belly before bedtime. Then in 2 weeks it's baby food time. We have to start with veggies. So, today I made a special trip and bought some peas and carrots. I will let you know how that goes later!!!

Christmas eve

Poor poor Greyson

Last night wasn't a good night for Greyson or Mommy. He has a cold that just started and he can't breathe. He's coughing a lot, and his poor left eye looks like he has some infection in it. It's hard watching your little sugar go through that. Anyway, I took him to the DR this morning and he has a little cold but doesn't need antibiotics for it. I have to put Ocean spray in his nose. She said he doesn't have pink eye it's just from his stuffy nose. I hope he gets better really fast. As I'm typing this, Minnie is licking his hand off so he's content looking at her like what the hell are you doing? I snapped a picture of it really quick for you too see!!!

Two more days!!!

First of all, RACHEL is going to be having her baby anytime now!!! Good Luck Rachel with that. It will be so wonderful to experience. Soon you will have your first glimpse of heaven in your arms!!! And, I just know it's a girl!!!

Christmas Eve is in 2 days and Greyson will get to open his very first presents, or his mommy will be for him. Last night I took Cher to Chesterfield mall to get her last presents that she needed. Then we walked past the popcorn place and she nearly YANKED my arm off trying to get me to go in there. It did smell awesome. So, we got some yummy hot caramel popcorn. Straight out of the popper!!! Mmm mmm good! I could've just asked for 3 pounds of lard to place directly on my arse and thighs, but they didn't sell that.

One more week till Christmas!!!

Hope you have all of your shopping done because this week will be sooo crazy in the stores. I have decided I will give money to my nephews and forget the shopping. This weekend flew by. Usually Mom has Greyson every Saturday night but the last couple I can't stand to give him up. He is so fun to be with. He smiles SOOO MUCH. Each time he smiles, I tear up a little. He has us wrapped so far around his finger. I told Mom that my heart feels like it's going to explode with love for him. I really don't know what I did without him.

This weekend Mom and I will go to the Christmas program at church and then we'll be having Christmas at Tami's house. Soo fun! Last year we had a blast over there. You know I will have pictures on here as soon as I can.

Carlos' boss and his wife are more than generous. They always buy us such huge presents. I wish they wouldn't really. It makes my present look like it came out of the cracker jack box. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse today and had a yummy lunch with them. I knocked over a whole glass of water on my son's lap. I was going to check his bottle to see how much he had drank and I hit my glass, WHOOPS! I felt so bad, he was soaked.

Fa la la la la

Greyson got to meet Santa for the first time this week at the babysitter's house. I didn't know she was even going to have him come over. I love this babysitter. When it's a kid's birthday she decorates her whole house with balloons and streemers and they celebrate that kids birthday all day. It's really neat. I am really glad to have her.

Christmas is only in a couple of weeks, do you have your shoppping done? I don't. I need to get something for his sitter, any ideas? I don't know who will answer me, maybe Rachel. Thanks Rachel for being a dedicated "The Real Me" blog reader, ha ha ha. I know I have a couple others but no one ever comments. I must go now, I have to get my dog from the groomers. He got beautified. Have a great weekend!

Snow snow go away!

Minnie decided that Greyson looked awfully comfy so she decided to hop up on the bouncer and cuddle up. Their wasn't enough room for me, so I didn't get to cuddle with them, LOL. We got lots of snow here in Missouri and so I have been entertaining myself taking pictures and watching movies. Carlos has been plowing snow for 36 hours straight. I feel so sorry for him, but he's in pretty good spirits!! Hope everyones weekend is great!
