What's been going on with me

I just thought I would let you know what's been going on with me. Today I am a little over 6 weeks pregnant. Last Thursday I went and had my first blood work up for the pregnancy to see where I stand with everything. This will probably sound like a foreign language but here goes. My HCG level was 257 and my Progesterone was 6.9. Dr wanted my Progesterone to be higher than that. Progesterone is a very important thing in the first trimester. So, he started me on Prometrium which is for just that. This really got me down and scared. I had to go have more blood work done. They wanted my HCG to be doubled from 257. So yesterday I called to get my results almost sick to my stomach not knowing what they were gonna tell me. They had to call me back because they had to call the lab to get the results, they knew I wanted them like NOW, LOL. So, about 15 minutes later I get a call from my DR himself. I was thinking it must not be good if they had him call me back. But to my surprise my HCG more than doubled. It went from 257 to 1190!!!! I was so happy to get that news!

Greyson will be 2 in 3 weeks and I can't believe it. I think we are just gonna do the Chuck E. Cheese thing. He will love it there. Anyway, that's all for now! Just wanted to let everyone know where things are! Oh yeah, I almost forgot I have been blessed with a case of pregnancy vertigo. I had it with Greyson too, but this time seems worse and is lasting longer. It's hard to work like that. But, it will all be worth it in the end!

Went to the OB today

Today I went to the Dr. and had blood drawn to check lots of things like my progesterone and other levels. Please keep me in your prayers that everything looks good and nothing to worry about! Still feeling good besides the mood swings or should I call them mood snaps. Poor Greyson, awwww.

Hormones are already raging...

Poor Carlos and Greyson. I have been such a big b#tch. That should be capitalized for sure. The house is a mess and it's everyone elses fault. I can smell the trash a mile away. Carlos is cooking some pork ribs and I think I may go throw up from the stench it's throwing off. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday the 24th to get blood work done. When I was first pregnant with Greyson my progesterone level was low and I had to take progesterone pills. A huge part of me wants a girl because I already have a boy. But, then I have all of Greyson's things and wouldn't have much shopping to do. If God is smart he will give me a boy so I am not out buying too many frilly things.....that would be bad for our checking account. We be broke all the time.

I took him yesterday even though he won't be 2 until 6 more weeks. But here they are. He is so shy around those people. UGH....but I got some good ones.

So many funny memories....

The other day I was at my niece's ball game and ran into an old friend's brother. I was so excited to see him. I think I game him the biggest bear hug. His sister Jessica or as I called her Jesse, was a huge part of my life growing up. Jesse and her family moved in across the street from us on Howell street when we were just young girls. Her and I have so many funny memories from those days. The last I heard she was in Chicago. I had kind of given up on hearing from her again. But that changed when I saw her brother at the game. I got her email address from her brother and we are exchanging emails now. We are sharing old memories and they are hilarious. Stuff that I totally forgot about is being brought up. Good times, good times. Anyway, She just sent me these pictures that I didn't even know she had. It gave me the best feeling inside to know that she is back in my life! Here's to so many more years of being awesome friends Jesse! I love ya sister!

I am desperate

Greyson likes to bite. And he has bitten about 10+ times. First it was at my sisters when she was watching him. He was biting my cousins little girl (my sister watched her also) He would look like he was hugging her and he would bite her. Well my cousin took her son out of my sisters care after the 4th bite. But now my son goes to a babysitter that has been in our family for 15+ years and she's really good. Since he has been there he has bitten the same little boy the same age as him like 6+ times. Today I went to pick him up and he had bit a 4 month old just sitting in her bouncer. My son is not a hyper kid, listens for the most part. We have put him in time out, swatted his hand, sternly said NO. But he just won't stop. I called the pediatrician and she said some kids just go through this and to put him in time out. He doesn't care if he's in time out. I am afraid I am gonna lose my babysitter if he doesn't stop. I just don't know what to do next!
