A really awesome day..

Today I sang at the 2 Rivers Womens Retreat at the Embassy Suites in St. Louis. I was so nervous until I remembered it wasn't about me, it was about God. It turned out really good and the retreat was very inspirational! I will definitely attend next years. Now my friend is trying to talk me into joining the worship team at church...hmmmmm..I just may....still thinking about it.

After that was over we had some family time at home. It was really nice. We laughed and played and it just felt so good. Here are some pictures I took. Hope the rest of your weekend is awesome!

Someone is hurting terribly....

Today I found out that a girl on CafeMom lost her son to Hodgkins. He was 4. The real tear jerker is this was her 2nd child she has lost. Here is her CafeMom page. I am so sad right now. Time to start praying for strength and that we never have to understand the pain she is in.

Busy yet still relaxing weekend

Well, we had to move my Grandma to a nursing home. Mom took her back to her apartment to live for a few days but she never did recognize it was her apartment. Mom knew then that the best thing for her would be to live in a nursing home. It is the same place she was living for physical therapy. She is really happy there and loves her nurses. That makes us feel much better. So, we had to move everything out of there on Saturday. I am still wondering what in the world she was going to do with all of those plates she owned. I'll never know.

Today was a good day, we relaxed all day. I took two naps and cooked a yummy lasagna during my second nap, it was on the couch. So, the weekend is over, but that's OK. Usually my weeks go so fast that Mondays aren't so bad. Thank God I love my job.

♥♥♥Happy Easter♥♥♥

Today we are supposed to be going to Tess and Gary's house for an Easter egg hunt but that's not going to be happening. It is like 35 out and the ground is mushy from so much rain. A couple of days ago we had 73 degree weather cold today. The Easter bunny did still come last night and leave Greyson his basket.



He also left him a large stuffed bunny. Greyson could care less about it though..haha. Wish the Easter bunny could take it back to the store..LOL. As you can see he doesn't understand the Easter bunny yet...he wasn't all that excited to get out of bed.

Dang it.....Girl Scout Cookies

AGH, I could just scream. I didn't buy any girl scout Cookies from work this year. I was really proud of myself. Well, I was taking a nap on the couch and someone knocks on the front door. This cute little girl and her Mommy are standing there with a huge box of cookies. How can you say no??? I don't know..darn it! I bought 3 boxes and I like all 3 kinds unfortunately..a lot.

Saturday morning..

I have been up since 6:30 thanks to my wonderful son who is like an alarm clock every single day. I got my beautiful Chevy Equinox last night that I was talking about. It's really dreary outside so I will take pictures when it's a little nicer. It had a whopping 4 miles on it when I took it off the lot. I called On Star and registered last night, that was a little weird talking to a girl through my dashboard...haha..but neat at the same time. Carlos isn't in love with a car payment $50.00 more, but he'll eventually get over it. It's million times nicer than my Malibu.

Aunt Tam, Uncle Chris, Uncle Gary, Tavia, and Kylie went to a new place called Playtime and brought Greyson with them. He had a blast. I need to get up there with him. Here are some pictures..there are a couple other ones thrown in there too! Have a great weekend!

BRRRRRRRRRRRR

It is freezing outside. I would say it's about -10 windchill for sure. It's nothing but ice out there on the roads. I went to work at 9 after sitting on the highway for a million years. I get there and almost all the patients canceled out. It's like HELLO..just close the dang office down....geez. Anyway, my poor hubby has been gone for almost 24 hours so Greyson and I had burgers and fries at Aunt Tams house tonight.

I might be getting a new car. I am looking at a Chevy Equinox. They have a $3000.00 rebate on them right now...I'm all about getting something for a lot less! So we shall see. Here is a stock picture of one.
